This isn't about an a body but a D250 reg cab truck.
It just got dropped off at the body shop yesterday all apart in pieces.
Who's the better weatherstrip company? I hear as much good as bad about "precision". Many companies actually just resell theirs at a huge markup.
I was trying to look past them.
I don't want to spend $$ just to spend $$ but I want something that fits as it should and works. I'm looking at Metro and Steele mostly. I need every strip of rubber made for these trucks.

I looked there after I posted and it doesn't seem like they offer as much as they used to

The year was omitted in the original post. I ask, because it took me a while to find weather-stripping for a 1957 Dodge D100, and I finally did.

I am redoing a truck that used to be mine and is again.
The original truck was an 83 (and which frame and dash/ for it's VIN will be retained) but I have a 90 cab going on, doors are 90 or 91 (we still have the original 83 doors but I found some power window doors)...
The original 83 cab and bed were Swiss cheese and these are what I found
I've heard there's something different about 86 ish and newer vent/wing windows but don't know what that might be

All this said I looked at Steele again and they don't have a "whole complete truck package" but have a glass run and felts package, the outer door weatherstrips are separate, as are each front and back glass.

Precision sells them pretty much the same way but I've heard alot of bad about that brand.
I've also been told that precision makes most and everyone else buys theirs and relabels that as their own. I know the guy in Detroit who sells the heater box kits sells alot of precision stuff for body seals
