Best deal you’ve ever made on old cars

When we talk of good deals, we need to mention the date! Makes a lot of difference if the deal was in '85 or 2005!!! ha

Lets face facts , us car guys love bargains! Swap meets? Rest my case. Try selling a good car for a fair price? Rest my case. Looking to buy? Rest my case! ha

Another fact. If we all had kept those bargains we bought, IF we had the acreage to hold them, and roof over their hoods, we might be worth a few $$$ !!! ha again!

In 78 or 79 I had a 71 340 Demon roller given to me. 1 hour each way to get it home. Sold it for a whopping $150.00 Those were the days. Kim

in 1981 i got a 72 demon 340 4spd 3.54 ls 8 3/4 for a windshield and a pair of tires for this guys el camino . about 300 bucks and i drove it home . put it in the garage and peeled it into parts , sold and traded most of it off . in fact the 340 and another 73 340 were traded for a 70 rt challenger 340 4spd roller , that got peeled as well . the room to store them was not there yet . i even peeled a 75 440 ps pb air , se ramcharger with 64 k miles on it . room was an issue . but peeled parts find there way on to new builds . in fact that r/e from the ramcharger made is way under my 64 d100 beater driver with a bone yard hp 383 find .
