It was very much appreciated....don't discount that. I'm just tired of all the insults flying around. It's so unnecessary. It makes me sick to my stomach that we're supposed to be a big family yet we treat each other like this. If you choose not to be kind in the future, that's your choice. That's funny.....it was you and others bashing the Bloomers on the other head post and neither of those guys are even on here currently and they are not even trying to pump the heads either but it sure did piss off a lot of you guys.......I made a post sticking up for the Bloomers as I was in talks with Rod on something else and we had a couple conversations on the phone and that is why I could vouch for his kindness and integrity.........you know the old saying.......don't throw stones if you live in a glass house
No, you never saw me bash Bloomer....or more accurately, that was not my intent if it came out like that. ALL I meant to bash is this guy's attitude about trying to wave Bloomer's banner. I sure as heck knew you couldn’t do it. You have to buy horsepower. The street strip game is boring to me. I like to race every weekend. I know Brett is more than capable as is Vic. I see Bretts posts daily and enjoy seeing his work. My issue is cars like yours have no class to run in. To slow for heads up and kinda expensive for bracket racing.

Well wrong again......the street/strip thing as you put it allows me MORE TIME IN MY CAR AND MORE ENJOYMENT out of it versus a few passes each weekend, and sorry to disappoint you but there are heads up small tire N/A races around here and my car does very well in those......and then I drive it to get ice cream after the races, LOL
So I guess what your getting at is that every member on here could develop, check critical clearances and assemble a 1000hp engine and have ZERO ISSUES that is shifted at 8600 rpm.......SURE BUD.....
I hope you paint them a nice color. You never saw me admonish someone for using someone else's power in there build. I didn't make light of someone who likes to make things work where others might think what they're using is junk. I work with way more junk than probably anyone here. Make what you have work for you and have fun with it. That's where I'm at. I don't really give a SHIT what you think about what I typed. What’s wrong with a guy having someone else build his power? I build all my engines and transmissions along with doing all my fabrication. I however don’t port my own heads. Does that make me less a gear head? Did you build your daily driver and motor home or did you buy them? Your boat? If not does that make you a check writer? No, it means you chose to focus on other stuff.
Believe me I’m far from perfect, my wife points out my many flaws on a regular basis. Im thinking pink or fuchsia. What’s your favorite?
