    Yep, its not factory, but it could be correct. I feel more comfortable with factory.
    I wish Mymopar would seperate them factory vs non factory.

                If 100' of wire is the same cost as 12', I'm buying 100' whether I need it right now or not...

                  Yeah, editing on my phone for whatever reason results in odd edits...

                  I can get 11 rolls with 25ft of all the colors I need, for about forty-five bucks and I'm good. I don't need, or want 1100 feet of wire taking up space at the moment.

                  yes the $11/roll is a better price and if/when I need that much, that's the way to go.

                          Agreed, unless you're going in the harness making business lol. $45 vs $275. I might be interested in pink/violet leftovers when you're done?

                          Buy US made wire ONLY!!!

                          I've bought 12ga wire that was really 14 gauge stranding with extra insulation to make it look like 12ga. Wanna guess country of manufacture?

                          Some tips having wired a number of cars completely;

                          • Get good crimpers, I use several different ones depending on the application. For Packard connectors, I use 2 different ones to get a good crimp
                          • Not all Packard 56 connectors are the same. GM used them as well (probably Ford as well) but the GM ones specifically are different. They can work many times but something you really need the Mopar version
                          • The spade terminals for the headlights are bigger (wider) than what you usually see, you need to get ones specific to headlight (I think they are .312" verses the normal .250")
                          • I order rolls of wire, but its handy to order purple, yellow and orange. The other colors you can usually find locally

                            when doing any automotive wiring, whether it's a repair or modification, I've been using Marine Grade wiring exclusively now. Marine Grade wiring is fully tinned, slightly larger bundles with smaller individual strands making it more flexible and able to carry a higher load, and the insulation is rated for higher temps. Living on the coast I can walk into a bunch of shops and buy it but I'm sure you can buy it online easily. The downside is that you're limited to specific colors.

                              The bigger West Marine stores have a wide variety of colors. Sold by the foot too.
