Haven't done anything major on a motor in 20 years. What is the go to other than the old Felpro 1009 head gaskets for an aluminum headed 440? Swapping heads and cam from stock edelbrock heads to cnc ported 440 source heads.

I see 440 source's is .051 thick and the fel pro is thinner (preferred).

Need a head/cam gasket kit and everyone has them.Kit form would be a plus. What are you guys using these days?

Thanks in advance.

Sold it two years ago.Working on my 68 Chrysler 300.
Polara ran 12.50's in the quarter.

I have used the FelPro 8519PT1 on all my aluminum headed 440 based engines to 11.9:1 compression and 740+ horsepower. Never had a 8519PT1 head gasket failure.

I run the Fel-Pro 8519P-T1 on an aluminum headed 526" engine that runs 5.40 127 mph in the 1/8. I use them on all my builds.
