LOLYou do need to know about building high performance engines before pulling the trigger on aluminum rods, especially a used set and even more so, a cheap used set. For the price, you got what you paid for. Basically rebuildable cores. But saying that, there is a reason why race teams replace rods and throw the old ones out. Just sayin' The seller shouldn't be selling them and the buyer shouldn't have bought them if he was serious about building an aluminum rod motor.
