Sorry Ive not been up to posting for a bit. I hope the list was helpful. Since there was no response to the list, I hope I have not offended someone. I know this is not your normal build, but I never said I was from your planet. Over the past few days I have recreated the FLIR enclosures out of 1.25"x1.25"x1/16" stainless tube stock. I sectioned one half of each piece to create the needed taper and cut the rest out with a 4" grinder. They are much straighter and painted up don't look "Cheesy". Andrew
You have some serious dedication to this car err Jet fighter... Nice work like always.. Keep it up.. The work on the car that is...
Ill let you know when I order it. Im still conflicted, so I have not pulled the trigger on it. Andrew
Prostreet, based on your name, you enjoy getting together with your buds and showing off your car and what it can do. Very cool! I on the other hand, enjoy putting the hammer down on the open road. Who among us wouldn't like to be able to go 200mph in total darkness right past the RADAR gun and still have the operator say- What the hell was that?! Just a thought---not that I would ever do that. Andrew
Maybe I should part out the Duster and sell you mine ..of course the HDK has to go with it for the custom front parts to work. Hey, it's got that 170 AMP alternator you need !!!!!!!
Ross I have a HDK. In the mean time, I got the heater lines run to the bypass valve and I have the condensate drain installed. It exits into the front wheel well rather than the engine compartment. Ive had the AC in and out a half a dozen times, maybe another dozen more to go. Doing a final bundling on some of the wiring to get it out of the way of the unit. I also got the AC bulkhead connectors installed. Andrew
Just a quick update, I now have the AC unit in place and have solved the spatial conflicts with the center console. I did not have to move the wiper motor, and as a matter of fact the wiper linkage was a greater obstacle. Andrew
I lowered the seats 1" and shoved the passenger seat as far inboard as I can get it. It was too close to the roll cage for my comfort. Andrew
Hey any of you lurkers and followers like the blues? If so go to Fandalism and check out whats going on here in Austin. Go to:http://fandalism.com/andrewcohen Great guest players and I even get it right now and then. Andrew
I got the Innovate wideband air fuel gauge ordered which starts the data logging chain. I also got the color coded led version of the Valentine1 remote display ordered for the Heads Up Display. When these all get here I can pretty much button up the dash and move on. Andrew
All of the major pieces are in place. The A/F gauge is a little under lit, and the Valentine remote display wont light up without the main unit, so that will wait. Sorry about the out of focus situation, my cell phone camera does not deal well with these sort of shots. The light from all the LEDs seems to mess with it. Andrew
The military academy? It's turned into quite the international melting pot. Lots of students from Russia, Germany, many eastern countries, some middle eastern as well.
Yes, go back to the beginning of the thread and read the story. All the adventures in the land of kudzu are in your home town! Andrew
This thing is in beleiveable and about that showing off I never ever show off I always follow the rules of the road 100% of the time all the time Posted via Topify using iPhone/iPad
