Im working on Dad's 273 and the new Felpro intake gasket has no holes for coolant crossover? Can I cut a hole, and use rtv? Basically making my own port? Or can gasket go in as is? Seems to me if I installed as is the gasket would get soaked and break through?
Thanks!

Ok so heat crossover blocked off by gasket is ok? Any time I've swapped int gaskets it hasnt been blocked. Yes I probably need a nap...2 outta 3 grandbabies are here lol

If you don't need the heat for driveability in cold weather.... but it seems like it would be good for any street engine in Ontario to have the crossover. Is the exhaust manifold stock and does it have any heat flapper? If not, then it will be likely too hot in summer with the crossover open to the exhaust all the time.

If you cut the hole, I'd use high heat RTV (red) around that hole.
