Blower Motor getting constant power

I got everything hooked up on my 74 Duster 318 with A/C to what i thought was the correct parts but my blower motor is getting constant power and blowing at a low speed non stop. Did i maybe hook a wrong wire up to the motor that is for my deleted EGR system or is somthing else wrong? *NOTE* car was completely torn apart about a month ago.

Does the blower switch have an "OFF" selection? I know on the GM cars through the 70s they ran all the time on low. There was no off.

My 73 runs at a low speed all the time and I believe 73 was the year change.

For 73 and up, blower off is not at/in the fan switch. Off is at the upper sliding lever. If the blower doesn't stop with that lever full left, something is wrong.

This is what im having. Im thinking i hooked a constant hot wire hooked up in place of the correct wire. Im going to look at it today and see if i can get it fixed.
