Bolt size?

383 with 727 trans what is the converter to flex plate bolt size please......5/16 or 7/16? thanks

5/16. Many after market convertors use 7/16 though

I have a Hughes converter guess ill open it up and check the size I need thanks

Those are special bolts, short heads, and fine thread. I would not bet that all of 'em are 5/16
