yeh, seems to be a mystery. everyone has a different issue. my filter is normally 3/4 full all the time. figured out this morning I had a leak at the pump rod. obviously only noticeable once engine is turned off. so in saying that I found my vacuum leak at the same time. swapping to 4 bbl this weekend. I have a aluminum 4bbl, spread bore intake and a carter AFB 625 cfm in the garage. using that instead of fooling with the 2 bbl again.
