If you bleed brakes the old way. Check this out. Wish I invented it. It's a brake line hose with a check valve in it.

I'll be interested to see how well these work for you guys. I vaguely remember seeing something similar in the past, but for some reason they didn't work well... not sure if they didn't grip the bleeder well or something like that. It does seem like a really good idea for those of us lone rangers.

Possible problems: Not all bleeders have the same size nipple. Isn't THAT something that SAE could have addressed?????

If the hose isn't secure on the bleeder nipple, and it comes off, well, there ya are...................

Good idea tho.

I've had very good results with just running a hose from the open bleeder down into a Yoohoo bottle that's half full of brake fluid. Slowly pump the peddle until you hear it stop bubbling, close the bleeder and then move on to the next wheel and repeat.

I fill a water bottle 1/2 full with brake fluid, cut a hole in the cap and stuff the bleeder tube into it. Sneak a WD-40 straw down next to the tube to "burp" while I pump. Works great.

They were in the motorcycle catalogs decades ago. They work...meh. Just like the bleeders with the check valves built-in. Just "meh".

The hose in the bottle is basically free, does the same thing, just a little harder to set up.
