Just got my 68 Barracuda brakes completed and the car finally stops. Had to replace the distribution block ( inlinetube ) perfect match. Anyways the brake lines from the master cylinder get hot from the exhaust manifold. I have power brakes and the booster and master cylinder above/side of the exhaust manifold. It was design this way from the factory..but after a short drive the lines coming out of the master cylinder to the distribution block get so hot that I can't even touch them. Everything is mounted properly.

Wondering if causes the brake fluid to boil. Seems like I loose a little pedal after driving awhile.

Is there some kind of heat deflector to protect the lines from getting so hot?
or is that just what it is.

let em get hot! it will help boil the moisture out of the lines:snakeman:

Do you have the original lines going down from the master cylinder ?
