First and foremost I love the pictures of the dog I wish mine was that loyal oh, actually it is more to my wife...
Two things one think about the floorboard underneath and pounding it up towards your patch to help pinched the two together and those areas where they lifted so they can get a lot closer to be tacked... And so you can go over there where the water is puddling up drill a little quarter inch hole and the lowest spot so you can get the water out of there and not pool up...

Yea i love that dog today is his birthday and he has been extra clingy today lol he is always right by my side if I'm outside he never leaves my side lol.
That's a good idea about pushing up on the bottom I will try that. Its strong it held my fat ass up while setting on it haha I thought about drilling a hole to let it drain out I'm gonna shop vac it tomorrow I pushed most of it out of the plug hole. I dont understand the point of those plugs if they dont let the water drain out.

First thing I do on my old trucks is drill a small hole in the rockers so the water can get out quickly. Drilling a small hole in the low spot is not going to hurt anything. It's just going to not let the water pool up in the first place...

Yes I will do that. Iv always wondered why they didnt do that from the factory in the cab corners rockers doors bottom of the fenders etc. Seems like those low spots are the first to go. I did that in that Chevy I'm working on I drilled a small hole in the back corners and sprayed it full of wd 40 hopefully it will last for him.

I don't care what anybody else says, you've done a he'll of a job for the minimal amount you've got to work with. That's real hot rodding! Well done.

Looking good dartfreak75. Not sure what size flux wire your running but if it’s .035 bump down to .030 for sheet metal you will have better results. I understand using what you got, because I do that to. But if you make a run to harbor freight the Vulcan wire is cheap and works pretty well. Don’t forget to grab the gas-less tips as well. Keep it going you will be done in no time.
