I'm making a Heater Delete plate to go on the firewall. The only photo I have seen, seems to look like it as a domed area in the center of the plate.

Can anyone with an OEM heater delete plate confirm the dome.

I know Mancini Racing has one but I'm looking to make an OEM correct version with the screws VS using the larger motor holes

I’d be curious to know too since I deleted my heater and just made a plate that doesn’t look OE.

Dana, is that going where the blower motor sits?

Yes

If it's just a flat plate I'm good. The DMT heater to firewall gasket is a little larger than my plate, I made my plate based off a heater to firewall attaching bracket. I might increase the OD of the plate to better match the gasket.

No gasket in this photo

That looks really good though! Why not just trim the gasket

Easier to increase the OD!

I made 4 of these the size they are and if I make more I'll enlarge the size.

The mounting holes are so wonky, 3 of the 4 are on a common center, one is not. None of them are the same distance from the others.

This is from a factory firewall piece
