cam install

is there another way to find out if the cam is installed correctly besides degreeing.
cam card stated to install at 108* intake center line.

chevy motors i built just line up the dots !! lol

just lining up the dots does not secure a accurate cam degree/setting, no matter what make.

the answer is no, you need to degree it....

it could be 8* advanced right now, who knows.
