cant remember, does this fit?

-
If I am not mistaken it will fit but you have to pull the leaf springs out to get it to drop in place like it is an inch too wide and just pull out on the springs to get it in.

great thanks

I knew there was one model of earlier bigger cars that was just a tad wider with the spring perches in too far that would fit without too much hassle, just wasn't sure if this was it or not

I ran a 67 Coronet axle in my 73 Duster.

Like above- pry a little and it drops in.

Rear wheels will also track at same width as fronts as a bonus.

great

I haven't called the seller yet (no point in wasting his time if it wouldn't fit) so I don't know what bolt pattern it will be yet
or ratio
or open or suregrip

anything else I should look for?

It will be 5x4.5". Ratio's can be anything, same with the Sure Grip, might have one, might not. Depends on the how the '67 was set up.

Should fit pretty well, I have a '68 B body rear in my '74 Duster. The '67 B-body rear is a little bit narrower than the '68, it should actually make your offset about the same front and rear for your rims.

As far as the perches, they need to be moved. A-body perches are at 43", '67 B-body are at 44". Yes, you can pry the springs out by a 1/2" per side, but keep in mind what that's actually doing. You're side loading the springs and bushings pretty significantly. And you're pulling the springs out wider, so, you're reducing the amount of space you have for tires. Yes, you can do it that way and make it work. But its absolutely the wrong way to do it.

When I installed mine I actually moved the perches in to 42", and used a 1/2" offset spring hanger/shackle kit. I now have 295's on my Duster with a little additional trimming on the quarter flange.

thanks for all the advise guys
I called the guy and left him a message

if I do end up getting it I will go ahead and respace the perches

talked to the seller today
it IS a suregrip with 3.23 ratio
only downside is...the centersection is not included
that puts this rear end in A body territory pricing so I thing ill pass up on it
