This is the Granddaddy of them all!
Just my opinion.
I have been going for 20 plus years.
Always a wonderful experience!
It is a 5 day vacation for me and my family.
We will be there this year.
Swap meet spaces i28-31
Lots of 67 68 69 barracuda parts.
Great time to get large fragile parts.
No shipping to contend with.
I will have:
Sheet metal
Seats/consoles
Stainless trim
Dash parts
Grille parts
Deck lid trim
I normally don’t bring glass.
If you need glass let me know.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Hope for good weather!

Gotta' add my 2 cents here on Carlisle. Also if you have a 67-69 Barracuda Eddie IS the man! He and his family are all around great folks and an asset to not only the 2nd Gen Barracuda crew but to great a-body crew. Thanks for all you do.

Thanks for the kind words!
We really enjoy what we do in the barracuda and A body world!

I have met a lot of folks on abodies and b bodies page there. Love Carlisle. Hotel accommodations are tough. I always seem to get stuck with dirt bag motels or hotels. Look great in the brochure for sure.

I think I'm going this year. First time. I'm excited

I remember the first time I went.
I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Unbelievable show cars and swap meet.
Food second to none!
Even the facilities are first class!
A have to bucket list trip!

It'll be my 5th year BUT first year bringing a car. Does anyone know how to get a parking area for my truck and enclosed car trailer? Do they allow you to sleep in the trailer ? Or would I need to get a campground spot and drive the car in to the show? I've seen trucks and trailers in lots all over the place.

When you register, you can select trailer parking and camping. The lot is right down the street from Gate 1. Yes, you can sleep in your trailer.

Can't wait, only a month and a half away. Stop by spots N 135-137 and take some of my junk home with you!

2nd year going im stoked hoping for good weather been rainy as a ***** here in Pa so far… do we have a tent like all the A, B C etc forums area think I saw one last year not sure tho

I ended up booking a primitive cabin at Western Village RV park. I also registered my car for the show. Man I'm excited to finally bring a car to Carlisle.

Mail delivered my credentials today. Looks like they moved the Dakotas to the yellow 700 section almost right across the main drag from the early A section. Works for me, as my son will have his 65 Bcuda there with my lunches in the back. LOL

Myself and 2 or 3 more should be getting there Thursday afternoon/evening.
Near last minute decision to go,had to find 2 rooms, only found one so far.It is going to be a tight fit.

3 weeks! I should probably start packing stuff.

Thinking about getting a small generator to run a fan.

I agree, the grand daddy of them all. I made it there twice or was it 3 times? from Mo. but last time was about 2002 maybe! I know it is bigger and better today!
My other fav show is Mn.

I agree with Eddie. It is the best show. I will be there, my spots N78 to N80 Mostly A Body stuff

I'll be there.

When staying in a motel I like, I book a room for the next year in person at the front desk. That's right, reserve a year in advance!

This will be the 8th time driving my 64 Valiant. It's 320 miles each way. I get on the Ohio Turnpike Strongsville entrance and get off at the PA Turnpike Carlisle exit. At 23-24 MPG I do it on one tank of gas each way. Good news is on average gas is 59 cents cheaper this year than a year ago.

Good timing.

They're celebrating Chrysler's 100th anniversary and it's going to be the best ever.

If anyone is on the fence, don't even think about not going.
