Separate names with a comma.
Those brackets would "fit" perfectly with enough Vaseline on them.
LOL, fit where?? F'r was even paged back to the thread and ignores it.....dick
Joe I forgot to send him his Christmas "gift" can you gimme his name and mailing address please?
Just called UPS in order to setup a self clearance as I have that ability since that's what I do for a living. Still not sure what he put for the declared value and cannot seem to get ahold of him. Guess I'll have to wait until it arrives in Canada in order to get the paperwork. Riddler
No I'm not vindictive. I just wish he was willing to speak with me and work it out. It honestly feels like I'm talking to a younger guy who just doesn't understand the hobby. I'm planning to try and recoop my losses and bring my paypal account to an even balance through selling of parts. However I'm concerned about the jargon I have to use. Restocking fee's, separate payments for shipping, etc Riddler
About 2" further back. Where his people skills come from.
so your telling us you going to jack your prices to recoup this loss? good to know (not that that isnt the way big companies cover "free shipping" and who knows what more)
Nope going to sell items I was going to hold on too. MY paypal balance is in the negative and in order for me to buy the small parts I need, I'll need to bring my balance to zero. So my plan is to post up a bunch of parts I had planned to save. I don't believe is ripping people off, but I'm not going to take pennies on the dollar either. Riddler
gotcha that makes sense if it helps, im still looking on a killer deal on a set of 69 valiant parking lights
What a total asshole. Yall both made mistakes in this, yet not only does he expect you to take 100% of it but now he's puttin the screws to you for even more. What a crook.
Black ball awsig From buying or selling rusty rat rod before it happens again. Just saying...
What makes you think he has the power to do that? nn
He knows the one that can.
We all can contact the one who can. Your so one sided on this, contact the Man yourself!
I ain't one sided in this. But I do know right and wrong.
I wish I could. Unfortunately, that'snot up to me. I think he has pretty much done it to himself.
Like I said in an earlier post. He won the battle, but he lost the war. So bad he is back to the stone age. As far as shipping, either a tool for what he did cause of retaliation. Or he is that ignorant if shipping.... Thank goodness thoughts can't be censored.
He's a tool either way.
Is anyone really surprised IF he did this out of spite? He’s been a member for a year and maybe is just starting to get going on his car and trust a member with thousands of posts that he actually is selling what he had advertised for sale. He gladly pays the asking price, which had been lowered many times the seller, and gets a part that is NOT what was advertised. He never post that he felt ripped off or disgruntled with the bad deal, try’s to work it out with the seller. He ends up going to PayPal for help, which is always preached on this site to do, to protect himself, which he did. Now the seller, the guy that sold him the part that wasn’t what he advertised it to be? jumps on the forum and gets a bunch of guys to blast the guy. Yeah, that really helped the seller, 6 pages of a lynch mob sticking up for the seller, (the guy selling the wrong part), saying what piece of crap the buyer is and what a scammer he must be, lets black ball the loser who expected to get what was advertised and what he paid for. What a loser for thinking someone was selling what they advertised and to actually expect to get what he paid for. What planet is the buyer from? Who in the world expects to get what they paid for?? Yep, blame the buyer, all his fault, make fun of him because its such a small amount of money to worry about. I bet most of us can remember a time when it was tough to scrape up any extra money, so 45 bucks could be a lot of cash for this guy. $45.00 bucks is life changing to some of the guys at my work, so who knows how it might be the they buyer. I also have no doubt that if this was reversed everyone would be blaming the seller for not doing his homework. Here’s what I mean.. Years ago, when I first joined this forum, I had a set of real T/A heads. I didn’t know what they were and I posted them up for sale, asking for feedback and admitting that I didn’t know what they were or their value, make offer. Of course, my inbox blows up with shitty, low offers except ONE member tells me to do my homework before I let them go because they are T/A heads. There is no doubt in my mind, if I would have sold them cheap, and then came to this forum and blasted the buyer for ripping me off, asking him to ship them back at his expense and let me refund him, because I didn’t know what I had. ALL you would be blasting me, telling me it my fault for not knowing what I was selling or what it was worth, sticking up for the buyer..
Your story only backs up what we've all been saying. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! The buyer did not! He has skin in the game, too.
I dont know either party in this situation, but mistakes made on both sides, should divide the loss. Unfair judgement by paypal, seller gets screwed, and then some.
I looked but couldn't find the part where he "try's to work it out with the seller". In this deal both parties stepped in it, and as such both sides should look for a solution where they both have a soft spot to land because that's how FABO members generally deal with each other. Post #69 among others tells me that he talked in circles about wanting to reach a reasonable compromise, but in the end just ran and hid behind Mommy Paypal's apron. Maybe Riddler has another part that he needs that Riddler could give him a smokin deal on to bring him his badly needed justice. Maybe he could have sold the incorrect brackets for a lot more than he bought them for, which was offered. Lots of ways to work this out if parties actually have an interest in working it out. As for "6 pages of lynch mob", sorry don't see that. I see calls for compromise and distribution of responsibility, and lots of anecdotes from "the real world". Treat people the way you want to be treated. That's not complicated. Piling on the return shipping is a dick move - even you acknowledge it was most likely out of spite. Take that crap to a different forum. Don't be a stain on FABO. Let the buyer limit his future purchases of used parts to the retail used part industry (see my earlier post above) where his "win at all costs" attitude will dovetail nicely with their "take it or leave it (less 20%)" business philosophy. Him, them and Paypal all deserve each other, and he can look to them for support, guidance and answers for all things A Body while paying for shipping both ways.
Exactly. He is a shitstain on the diaper of humanity. Too late to turn back now.
I can only imagine if PayPutz had sided with Riddler He would've set up a gofundme to recoup His losses, LOL!!!!!!!!!
