I am in the process of installing a center console shifter in my 67 Barracuda, I purchased a center console and linkage, but I have reviewed several post on this top but my linkage does not look the same and just wondering what I need / have to work with.
See attached photos

Also I have picked up some kickdown linkage and I have this issue that I need some help with see photo just need advice on what I need to do.

Maybe this will help. The floor shifter doesn't use any of the linkage from the column shift. Just remove all that stuff, and you'll see an ear on the transmission. Bolt the flange you highlighted with the red arrow onto that flange.

Like so...

But wont that put the shifter linkage too far forward, and the lever looks to be set up the wrong way to work?

That linkage you have pictured is 904 column automatic shifter linkage and none of it is correct for a console shifter. I have what you need and will PM you.

It'll put the shift linkage where its supposed to be, the console linkage is longer.
