Is there an issue with these swaps using the small block center links, or is the Big Block center link needed for oil pan clearance?

EDIT- sorry, I think I meant slant 6 vs. V8. Been away from the A body too long.

I'll be using the Milodon mid sump pan if it matters.

Brain fart. Whichever one has more drop for oil pan clearance. Is it needed or can I roll on with whatever I happen to have?

I had a 74 Swinger. Og /6. Used the og front K and suspension. Conversion mounts for 408. Then did gen 3 deal. Had to switch K member to actual V8 K. Kept EVERYTHING else. No issues.

In A bodies, I think after 1965....a center link was a center link, no matter what motor. I used a Milodon pan to put a 5.7 Hemi into a 70 Duster. I used a 73 and up V8 spool mount k frame, and there was plenty of clearance between the pan and center link.
