I have a 68 Cuda vert that I want to put on a rotisserie. It is all stripped including susp. etc. If I use the bumper mounting points will I be close to the center for weight distribution? Should I go lower or higher?
Thanks
Pike
(the photo still has susp. on. Gone now)

I built my rotisserie for my 67 Fastback. The car was stripped completely to a shell and it was attached at the bumper mount points. The pivot point was about 6 inches higher, roughly at the height of the trunk lip and the centre of the rad opening. The car was fairly bottom heavy and when I was alone I used a come-along attached overhead pulling on the frame connectors to turn it upside down or hold it halfway for safety even with the pivot locks. Without the roof you'll have to be pivoting at the bumper mounts or lower IMO. Hope this helps, good luck, Larry
