I've been thinking about adding a deep front chin spoiler on my '64 Dart. I'm looking to reduce drag and increase attitude. Anybody have any ideas on what could be made to fit easily? Maybe a factory chin spoiler off of another vintage car. '69 Z28 repops are cheap and readily available.

In the mid 80's I made a front spoiler from 4" belting I purchased at a farm store. It was cloth reinforced rubber about 3/16" thick. I made brackets to hold and shape as desired. It is tough to cut, and very durable . I used it on a Diplomat police car, to divert air to radiator.

This is still done, but with garage door moulding, and mostly on Hondas, In-fact some people have re-packaged the moulding and sold it as a universal car lip.

I've seen a few Chevy S-10 spoilers added to later A-bodys on the cheap, and it looks pretty good.

67/68 Camaro is probably the easiest. You can get a plastic version from OER for $35, so if it doesn't work you're not out much money. I put one on my Duster, once you get past the "camaro" part it looks pretty good. :D They're pretty generic, and can be modified pretty easily. If you want to get really crazy you can reshape them a bit with a heat gun too.

I have the wider version that they no longer make. Looking to get 150

I bought a '69 Camaro chin spoiler off of eBay for about $45 - haven't mounted it yet, but it looks like it's not too hard to adapt

I snagged the photos posted below off of some thread (or maybe another forum?) where a guy used a 1969 Camaro part - does anyone recognize the car? Would like to attribute it - I saved the pics as reference for when I get around to doing this.

prrc made one out of a 2010 Challenger part:

this one is kinda cool:
