I have a Stromberg 2bbl carb (modell WW) on a '63 225 /6. It is missing the factory manifold mounted choke actuator rod. Anybody have one or a suggestion on how to come by one?
Thanks,rjg

If you 2bbl is mounted in such a way that the choke pivot shaft goes from left to right, perpendicular to the front to rear centerline of the car, having the rod will do you no good. Your best bet is to buy a factory 2bbl choke mechanism. Be aware later chokes don't always bolt directly to earlier exhaust manifolds, mounting hole patterns are the same but due to casting differences over the years the choke well in the manifold varies.
