Ok, just installed my rebuilt 340 with new clutch PP and throw out bearing and rebuilt transmission. Also installed new pilot needle bearing. When we started the car to break in the cam, there was a clunk in drive train somewhere??? Restorer thought in transmission, I thought in clutch area. It doesn't clunk with engine speed, it clunks strangely. Push the clutch in, goes away??? Any ideas?? I thought a bad TO bearing, but no squeal.

Its brand new, but I tending to agree.
I'm pulling the tranny out tomorrow to find out??
