I finally located and got (from an ABO member) the right bellhousing for my 4 speed (A833) conversion; 65 Barracuda /6. I had previously obtained a /6 flywheel and aluminum bell housing, the bell housing (I believe came off of a truck) in no way would work for me, tried to make it work, but that turned out to be a big waste of time. The flywheel had a larger register hole and had to be bushed with a ring that I got from the same ABO member I got the right bell housing from. The flywheel came with a new (re-man) 9.125" disk and pressure plate. From what I can tell, the PO somehow ran a 10" disk, as the wear pattern on the fly wheel measured 10" in diameter. The flywheel is a 122 tooth ring gear. The 5/16" pressure plate bolt holes, measure 10.750" from center to center across. I thought I had read a previous thread that there is a 10" clutch and pressure plate that is scalloped to fit my type of flywheel. Is there such an animal?
