I am near completion of my 1970 340 4 speed restoration.
I am replacing the clutch switch that grounds the starter relay.
Can some one please provide a photo of where that wire goes through the fire wall.
The wiring diagrams shows it going through the fire wall not at any of the bulkhead plugs.
I don't see any holes larger than 1/4" in the fire wall & the diagram shows a grommet.

My car, I would not use it. Its an old school thing. Others might argue how much safer it is.

Ground the relay directly to ground to bypass it.

Toss it. Your crankshaft thrust bearing will thank you.

On my 71 Cuda it comes in as a single wire right below the speedometer cable.

I some what agree but I am trying to put it back stock.
I probably will screw the wire to ground near the switch as the switch isn't working reliably.
I would like to see the wire going through the fire wall in the correct place.
