              Not to sound dumb but what is the advantage over direct lube lifters?

              Is that an aluminum pipe? Aren't you afraid that it might break due to vibration?

                It is certainly not a dumb question.

                This engine will spend the vast majority of it's life under 2000 rpm, hours at a time idling at various angles. Cody wanted to keep the lifters and the cam well lubed and came up with this solution. We discussed other options of lifters and lifter bore work and even if was it really even needed.

                In the end this is what he personally wanted to do.

                I couldn't (he's a strong willed man) and wasn't going deny him the opportunity to try his idea. Working together we came up with and built this system. He has experimented with different oils and pressures in test bench trials and when we pre-lube the engine without the intake manifold we'll have further information on how well it may work.

                The tubing is 3/8 steel you can buy at any NAPA store.

                      The prelube and dyno sessions will make that determination. We will heat the oil and the engine before the prelube and see what pressures we get at that time. If they are good it goes to the dyno where we'll double check.

                        IDK if you can even do hydraulic EDM lifters as the oil supply must come from the high pressure band area and bypass the internal check valve area, not the piston area or else the hydro lifter will collapse! Not sure why anyone runs a hydro cam anyway but thats your boys choice too. Go for it. I devised a spray bar for the valve covers too along the same lines. Oil everywhere! I wonder if your passenger side lifters are going to benefit from this as much as the driver side?
