Back in 74 we built the Schlitz Distributor here in West Plains. They brought out a keg every friday for the crew. Does anyone collect sports cards. I just buy em when i get a deal on em for the grandson. The last batch i bought i paid $20 for 10,000 cards. All kinds.Baseball, football, hockey, basketball, and nascar. I think i have about 30,000 now.

I collect old beer and pop bottles, some diecast cars, old signs and advertisments from magazines etc. while my wife collects memorabilia from the '30s to '70s, we are always are competing for space lol!
My project cars collect dust while all of this is going on.:evil4:

I like to collect vinyl records preferribly obscure metal bands or early recordings of well known ones but i'll pick up a run of the mill classic rock album just to listen to and FEEL the music.

oh old matchbooks and Vintage Skateboards too! haha

I've got about 125,000 cards, probably 50% baseball, with football, basketball, and hockey making up the rest. I was collecting these with my boys, while they were growing up. I started selling them at card shows, until the market got tight. I've sold antiques and collectibles, as well as my handmade primitive style furniture, for over 10 years as a side. I would sell the cards there as well. Still have a lot of cards, old furniture, and smalls stored. Tim

Coins (especially old silver dollars), 1/18 die casts and anything related to pool / billiards. Though I haven't added to the stash since I was a little kid, I've got a wicked collection of Breyer horses too ... thankfully they were all still packed up in boxes when Hurricane Katrina hit or they'd be toast.

You guys ought to get a kick out of this picture, taken back then for the insurance company (love that mold!!!! yukkkk). My horses were safe and sound in their Year One box. :-D

Have you ever seen a rod like this one.
Carboley, then it reads Tip Top.
ercoa x-1000.
I picked it up for a conversation peace for a dollar on petit Jean Mt.
then I put a classic Zebco 33 on it.
I can get better pictures of it ! But I have never seen one.

Never seen one like that Mike. Most of the rods I have are split bamboo fly or trolling rods, or the old metal telescoping ones. That looks like the eyes are on the bottom, rod seat curves so the line can go past. It looks to be in nice condition, and I'd say you got a good buy. Some day I'll get my camp finished, so I can put my collection out. Tim
