This is a great piece. Awesome patina. Bought this at a swap meet in 1983 so she is at least 36 yrs. old. Dimensions are about 20”s x 10”s x 10”s. Has one hinge & latch for lid. Seals tight.
Great for the man cave, hunting/fishing or just display it.

Little background. This is a military munitions crate. The hasp is made so a seal can be placed on it. It was a twisted wire seal with a disc of lead at the end. You fed the wire in to a hole in the side of the disc and then crimped it with special pliers. I remember these back, oh just a day or two ago (ha ha). I want to say the ones I saw held flares that were loaded on BUFF's (B-52's). But I couldn't swear to it. Nice neat old piece you have there.
