Which is recommended for a stock build with factory low compression. It will be run in a demolition derby car and see times of overheat without coolant.

IDK about "copper" do you mean the three layer premium type?
actually any would work- it's the oil you want cool

Yes I meant the 3 layer.
No we are not able to hide water injection.
I found last year it gets so hot that it will melt a nylon oil line for a gauge. That was the 1st and last time I run an oil gauge.
I ran a temp gauge last year and she got up to 280.

Run a straight grade 40 weight engine oil and a well protected external engine and transmission oil cooler. If the cost differential is there I would run a premium synthetic engine and transmission oil.

I'd run full groove bearings with lots of oil volume and pressure.
