Does anyone know what air breather is correct for a 1968 340 Dart?

Step one will be to use the right words. The breather is the device on the valve cover through which air is admitted to the crankcase (to sweep crankcase fumes into the engine via the PCV valve). It sounds as if you are asking about the air cleaner, which goes on top of the carburetor and contains the air filter.

It's clear at least two people understood what he was looking for. Sheesh

I think I have one, an air cleaner, that I may be interested in letting go as I don't have any 68-69 340 cars. Shipping to Canada can get expensive.

No. Two people assume he is talking about the air cleaner.

Really, we don't know because he hasn't clarified his question. When I read this post, I assume he is talking about the breather on the valve cover.

Well, Mr. know it all, I guess the PM I got from him asking about the part I may have may just clear up what he was asking for... an air cleaner...

I figured out, I like you better when you weren't here and I didn't have to see your post. I'll fix that now!

Have fun.

Love the beard!

Yeah? Well, I need a carburetor and an ignition switch for my Dart. And when I say "carburetor" I mean "speedometer", and when I say "ignition switch" I mean "gas cap". Like, DUH! Sheesh.

Thanks, grew it myself!
