Well, that was stupid

It's fake, guys


But I did see this happen to a Porsche 4S Turbo. One of the front straps snapped during a pull and the car veered and drove off the platform. Extremely sketchy. Thank God no one was standing there. It was a mess trying to get it off of the platform. I didn't stick around to watch how they did it, but I'm guessing a crane or winch was involved.

I liked the C5, I had an opportunity to drive one when they first hit the market, very impressive car, can only imagine the C6 and C7 are just as good, don't know about the C8, looks too space age in some ways. Likely will never own any Corvette though, out of my budget.
 
That reminds me, there's a Corvette club that drives by my property in the summer.
I need to make my sign "Corvette owners beware"
