You probably had a microscopic blood clot in your eye, have you been seen for this? Hope you get your vision back and feel better, headaches are probably from the vision being the way it is

Co-worker tested positive about 3 weeks ago. He is just now starting to get taste buds again. It's an interesting strain of Flu for sure...

@66340SEDAN ...Keith, if you have an ache in your leg that doesn't go away, and a slight dry cough, you may have a DVT (blood clot) in your leg. I had both those symptoms in 2018 and drug around thinking it was a charlie horse in my leg. Clot in my left calf! Clots are pretty common with Covid, so ask your wife if that might be a thing you should get checked if you're going back to the doctor soon. I hope all of y'all that have had the china bug get better soon. I've been lucky...so far!

met a guy a week or 2 ago. he got it in late february (almost a year ago) and so did his wife. both in their late 40s. neither one has any taste or smell still. they coat everything in some crazy hot sauces just to taste anything. he gets pure scotch bonnet oil and hardly notices. his wife developed circulation problems in her legs after getting it. both have had MRIs since to see if there is anything they can do.

I was sick in Feb. of last year, before testing was readily available. So while I don't have proof I had it I've had breathing issues since and have spots on my lungs. I go back for another CT scan Thursday.

Well if you donate blood they should be able to tell if you have the antibodies?

Antibodies are only detectable for up to 8 months.

Thanks. My issue was/is that the virus induced conjunctivitis propagated in the sclera and out over part of the cornea. This warped and rippled the cornea along the edge part out into the middle which is why it’s like looking through an ice cube. Docs don’t know it it will ever fully heal, but it does seems to be getting better very slowly. Fingers crossed.

The eye strain headaches are because the left eye is trying madly to focus through the various parts of the distortion as I look around. I had to wear an eye patch most of the Summer just to get it to settle down and stop the rapid focusing attempts making me dizzy and giving me headaches...

Have not had it, been tested multiple times. Buddy is an AZ DPS officer (highway patrol). He tested positive. Spent 14 days at home. Is back at work. He never lost his sense of smell or taste. Just real bad headache, a cough and exhausted. When we were talking the other day he told me when all is said and done he has gotten worse things.

This is what our doctor has been saying....that when our freedoms are restore in full that a lot of people will be getting it. Neighbor called Ernie in a panic at about 9:45 last night, she was having a hard time breathing. This is the lady whose husband passed back in November. The Ambulance that took her told Ernie they had no idea what hospital she was going to end up at as they are all at 100% capacity.

Still no sense of smell. And partial taste. I can tell heat and taste salt on foods. Covid will never go away, it will be controlled like other viruses. In my opinion.

That's sad and that's the really scary part, when there's no room at the Inn.

Been well over a week now since I have had the phlegm or cough due to inflammation....I’ve been exercising on the treadmill, eating better and eating smaller amounts, also am taking some new better vitamins and getting better sleep....not sure which one is helping the most but I like how I’ve been feeling lately and hopefully this continues!

                      Just got over it.
First full week back to work.

Think I contracted it on 1/20.
                      No symptoms until 1/23 pm.
I started a new diabetes med on 1/22
Side effects were fatigue and body aches.
I did some woodworking and moved a lot of somewhat large pieces around 1/23 am.
Just thought I over did it.

Got email from work advising all employees to get tests as there had been multiple confirmed exposures.
All employees were to work from home for 2 weeks.
However, they said anyone known to have been exposed had already been contacted.
Went to work 1/25 (I'm the IT guy and had to prep laptops for employees that don't normally have them)
During the day I discovered through prodding of the management that I had been in one of the exposure offices.
(Apparently people don't remember who they interact with outside their normal duties, IE the tech guy)

Got tested 1/25 pm. Fatigue and aches slightly worse the next 2 days.
15% sinus congestion, slight chills and a throat clearing kind of light cough set in.
No fever until 1/27 (full week after exposure) Received positive results 1/28.
Next 4.5 days the fatigue was excruciating. Changing position, rolling over or sitting up was a chore that sometimes took multiple attempts. Getting up for bathroom was exhausting.
Lost partial sense of smell. Some days my back and pelvis hurt like hell. 2 days had thick, dry coating on tongue that I had to scrape off with my molars. Could not stand for more than 10 min (usually less). Some brain fog and equilibrium issues.

2/1 I could sit up and stand long enough to shower. No appetite whatsoever (since 1/27).
2/2 I could sit for about an hour. Had craving for KFC pot pie and tenders.
2/3 I could stand and walk, but not really any farther than the kitchen.
2/4 No more fever. Continued to improve.
2/5 Setback. Felt worse than previous 2 days. Nausea set in.
2/6 Felt like about 50% capacity.
2/7 65% watched Super Bowl and drank two beers (victory and man card notch)
2/8 Back to work. Put myself on light duty. Slept 14 hours.
2/9 Another setback day felt worse than 2/8. Slept 14 hours again.

As of today, 2/12 I still don't feel 100% but am glad to have all that behind me.

I can absolutely see how people can walk around and spread it without knowing they have it.
