Hi all,

Looks like I need to order my new wheels so I can get moving on the rear end. Decided to stay with Cragar SS like the old ones but these will be 15's instead of the 14's. Looking at the order page I can get either conical seat or shank. The old rims had shanks and could be a slight pain to get on. If I remember right back in the day they were all shanked lugs on the Cragars. Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks

Shank.

The first one, you have to hold your mouth (and the wheel) just right, after that rotate as you go, and it's no big deal.

...............Is that just the lug nuts or does the rim have both choices, I still prefer the shank.......get the pre drilled rims, not the unilug that needs the offset washers........kim.........

You can order the rims drilled for shank or you can order them drilled for conical. The only Cragar lug nut style I ever worked from back in the 70's to now were shank and it still looks like most people buy the rims drilled for the shank style lug nuts.

Thanks for the input!
