Ya we are going to pull the heads and the cam back out . It had alittle bit of rust on it . Nothing we can clean off . New gaskits good to go .

I see you have a great engine builder lending a hand :glasses7:
I wish I was there enjoying this finnel build and install and viset
when Karl and you move forward  I bet he makes for fun company :D
i would like to see him again and meet you .
Keep us updated please . heck I may have to show up on the install day

Hay mike that would be cool . I hope karl, cliff ,maritn are here for the install and for her 1st breath of life in more then a decade . Thats still aways off tho mike . You would have to bring vitoriea ! I know i spelled it worng lol .

The way it was stored, I am surprised it got dampness to rust inside. I reckon that is good ole Oklahoma humidity at its best.

We lubed it real good with motor honey when we put it together. Hopefully that saved the insides.

I thought you would have done that and I know for a fact it was stored right.

with it being stored right, then I would prime the oil pump with a drill and spray some kroil, or PB blaster, or whatever down each cylinder.....then wait a day or two and go back and see how it looks.

sometimes they look worse than they really are.

Ya bill it was the Oklahoma humidity that got too it . but im sure the insides are fine . Just the tops of the heads and the top lobes of the have alitte rust on them

Good to see your keeping busy there Asa! Miss you bud.

Miss me ? Im still here lol I caint sleep lol Caint wate to see how well she cleans up tomarrow .......today??....... Ya today lol
