Dallas area 8th mile track now open

I believe it used to be Red Line Raceway a few years back when it closed. Now open as I-30 Dragway Caddo Mills, Tx.
They are an IHRA track, and they are going to try something different for bracket racing:
They will have Sportsman class (street cars) run on Friday night and slick tire cars only on Saturday. Jr's in the morning, Box and No Box in the afternoon.
I like this setup, should make for a more consistent track for slick tire cars.

How far is it from like Arlington? An hour?

Nothing better than hearing about a new track OPENING, after losing my local track NORTHSTAR(was 15 minutes away) last year which really F__ked us up here in North Texas. Also lost Red Line and Kennedale a few years ago. I used to go to Red Line back in the day but now its been mainly Xtreme in Farris for me. This track will still be farther for me than Xtreme in Farris which is about a 50 minute ride.
