Dash Paint?

I’m looking to touch up the dash in my 70 Duster. It’s painted a high gloss black (along the bottom of the dash) Does anyone know what paint was used?

Usually dashes are not painted that shiny so they don't reflect the sun on the windshield...

You may be over thinking this. Unless you MUST have all oem, then I can not help. However, a good over the counter spray paint will look great and last as long as it should. Just need to do the typical prep work first and go for it.
There are no short cuts to do correctly.

Several people have cheated, by not buying the real seude paint that is quite expensive. You are doing black, practice with a spray can of John Deere Blitz black, available at any John Deere ag or construction dealership. Dash panels were not gloss finish.

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately my dash panel is gloss black. Were the dash panels a matte finish? I'll keep looking for a match to my dash.

I use this on all Dashes, spoilers, scoops. Looks the best and easy to maintain. No water spots after cleaning at all/

SEM Trim Black works well if you're on a budget.

Satin or flat black if doing it cheap. Top of doors 72 back gloss...

Its been awhile but I remember this paint looking correct....some sort of sating low gloss black. I still have a can and plan to use it for my current restoration.

Yes, I used Rust oleum enamel from Lowe's. If you prep and primer correctly and are fairly decent with rattle cans, it comes out fairly acceptable for a daily driver. I'm not saying it will win in a car show LOL!

#39143 Looks like the SEM number. It would take technique to make it look like the suede factory finish. Any paint and body supply store would have it.

Thank you! It’s my new favorite spray paint. Spray pattern is thick and it lays down, and levels out. Hard to make it run.
