Damn.. I've enjoyed his/their music for 50 years ...50 years ..wow ..saying that is sometimes like a slap in the face by reality ..I remember holding my young girlfriend (now wife) and hearing him/them in the car. .. RIP David, and thank you for the music. If you want to hear what great harmony is, listen to them.. Man they were great, ..one of my favorites .

Just by chance I watched the local news last night and discovered that Mr Crosby was a neighbor of sorts. He was living in the Santa Ynez Valley some 30 minutes from here. Born in LA, went to Santa Barbara City College, our county seat. In March he had a concert scheduled in Santa Barbara at a theatre long known for it's celebrity performers. Such a huge loss in all aspects. Rest in Peace.
