so, looks like my proform HEI will not fit with the T-ram....
so in the market for dist.

i really like the pertronics flame thrower II and the mopar performance electronic dist. with rev box..

any do's and dont's here ?

can't mount the HEI control box somewhere other then the distributor?

its a GM style, where cap, HEI module and coil are all one, 50000 v.
just to big, works fine on a single low plane intake. its about 5in. across, so about an inch larger in circumference over a standard cap

So you're not saying why is doesn't fit so I ask you, Is it that the vacuum advance hasn't the room to turn? If that is the problem which I too had, what I did was grind down some of the manifolds little mountains and everything was serendipity from there. I hope you can see from the photo as after I ground down some of the manifold, it now turns well. The screwdriver you see is the handle for the transmission dip stick and sits far away from the dizzy and the photo makes it look closer.

MSD E curve. No box needed. Multi spark, rev control, easy to set curves...

nope, its a GM unit, its on the shelf as MSD or Delco-Remy..

OK, so it does fit just as yours does, however it only has about 3/4 of an inch rotation... so im going to leave it as is and see if i can get it running.from where its sitting, i can only turn it clock wise that 3/4 in the same location you see it here.
