That was my first thought based on what I have read here on FABO.
I did send a note asking if this is a Precision Products item (same part #) and if it's in stock.

I’ve bought quite a few early A-only products from them. All fit perfectly

BTW, DMT has awesome stuff and talked to them at the mopar show here and I suggested they make for for the early-a stuff and he said they were working on it....guess he was telling the truth!

DMT confirmed it is the Precision set, ordered it along with a few other items!

Just installed mine from DMT. Was a bit of work but fit perfectly. These are not quite right and if you call Jim at DMT he will give a an earful.. No one make a 100% correct seal for the convertible even if you see one that claims to be. The lip is a bit shorter than a convertible and it shows some of the frame from the outside. Paint around the glass area black and add a bit of black sealer and you will never notice.

                Thanks Jim.
Got my gasket a few days ago and picked up a windshield on Wednesday.
I saw the convertible vs hardtop gasket difference in another post.
Good tip on painting the frame black.
Did you install the gasket on the frame first, then work the windshield in? Or vice versa?

Gasket then windshield. With the lock bead type it is easy. The hard part is getting the bead in. Heat the strip in the corners to minimize the chance of wrinkling the chrome.

That's pretty much what I had decided. I got the lockstrip tool and saw an install video on the Precision Products website.
Hoping to finish sanding this week and get it in primer.

My '65 factory service manual (page 23-65, windshield installation, AV models) recommends using "mineral spirits" as a lubricate to insert mylar trim strip. Never heard of a real person following such a procedure.

Bringing this thread back as I finally have the car painted and most of the trim re-installed.
Windshield install is next, my question is do you use a butyl sealer on the gasket where it slips onto the frame pinchweld?
I bought a tube of butyl sealer back when I bought the gasket, just don't recall where to use it!

Not sure, but I believe this is a product that can be used in that area:
