Did any year of Duster come with a stock coolant overflow tank?

My son's 73 had one in the right front. Metal bracket around the top. Very nice factory piece. Sorry no pix as the car is gone.

I'm pretty sure they did. I think I might even have a repop new one on hand.

'73-'76 had them.
They looked similar, but there were 2 different versions. The '73had 2 rubber lines from the cap, 1 to the radiator, and a discharge line clipped to the side of the body.
'74-'76 had one line to the tank from the radiator, the overflow was a molded-in part of the body.
The mounting bracket was slightly different between the two, also.
They are interchangeable.
You will also need to use the later radiator cap for the system to function properly.

My son's 73 had the 74 and up with the overflow hose cast into the bottle.
My 71 Duster 340 even with A/C didn't have an overflow tank. Hose from rad went down the side to the street.

My totally stock '71 Demon (slant 6) doesn't have an expansion tank, only a little hose going down on the left side of the rad
The expansion tank location is taken by the horns
Was option N76 in 72 and Fed required in 73.

My '73 California Duster (318) came with a square plastic bottle that had a metal ring around the neck. It was mounted on the right inner fender next to the alternator. Couldn't find a replacement so I went with the one that mounts next to the radiator. The mounting hole were already there for that bottle.

My 71 340 had dual horns were your overflow bottle is. Car has been gone since 1980, but luckily have a few pics of it. I've stopped kicking my self in the A--s for selling it. The .50 a gallon was killing me back then. After it was gone it was replaced by a 80 Honda Civic for the 50 mile commute to work one way.
My radiator came from Carolina Radiator, purchased back in the early 80's.

Mine is only one year old. It will be replaced by an original Chrysler one as soon as this one will be back from a professional restoration.

Me too. A 1971 #3443970 rad. Incorrect for a slant 6, but it's the only one I could find. Mopar used parts are very very scarce here.
I'm sure in Europe, plus international shipping must be real expensive.

Yes, expensive Mopar parts + shipping and import/customs taxes. Owning an old Mopar here is a true challenge.
So the factory one started in 73 as stated here. What they did was move the horns under the battery tray so if you use a factory overflow you have to rewire to put the horns under the battery tray.

I installed Dorman 603-325 on my 1972 Duster with a correct bracket from whatever Hyundai it is supposed to be from. Bracket bolts nicely to the frame horn and looks like it could be factory for a Duster. Others before me have done this and I copied the excellent idea.

Impressive - this manages to look original in a way I never would have expected a much later part to look.
Coolant recovery tanks were standard on Chrysler product beginning in 73 as were many other items, electronic ignition, disc brakes etc..
If you run a recovery tank you also need the proper radiator cap to go with it or it won't work properly.

Would the cap off a 2000 Jeep Wrangler be considered correct lol? I grabbed the cap off the leaking Jeep radiator I replaced the prior month when I realized the Duster cap was not working at all and had access to that cap in scrap bin outside lol. So far it seems to be working perfectly in my application.
Also the bracket needed is Hyundai Elantra, I believe, and the replacement Dorman bottle does not go right on the bracket without quick modification on the bracket which I did so could have a new coolant overflow tank.
