That’s a scam. How did you pay? Dispute the charges on your credit card or if you used PayPal, get your money back.

Unfortunately, the language of foreign scammers!
FB Marketplace has the most scammers, plus idiots tagging you every friggin day to sell you a d*** T Shirt!!!!!

Ya gotta look at the profile and face-time the seller standing next to the parts. Admins are not doing their groups any justice by allowing these fake accounts. Look at how many parts are for sale in Kailua Hawaii. No invoice no payment.

How did you pay? I hope it was something that you place a claim on. I haven't bought anything from someone I don't know or trust (I trust long time members of FABO) in a long, long time.

That's a spin-off of an old one. I had a friend that thought he was buying a puppy from Texas. When it got to the airport. (it was really never there) The dog carrier was insufficient and needed to be insured. He sent more money to upgrade the carrier and insure it. SCAMMED

What "staff" is a US seller using that requires insurance on a package?

Insurance is the sellers obligation, unless it is discussed beforehand.

Typically it's included in the asking price, at least by me.

USPS and UPS are automatically insured for various amounts, usually $50, and additional insurance is typically not much more than $10-$15.

Yea that POS almost got me too but I wisened up. I tried to get him to send your money back, but the lowlife blocked me after.

He just posted some slant 6 stuff for sale. I asked if he was gonna refund Dustin's money. I told everybody not to send him one red cent, because he does what his name says. STEAL.

Who in the U.S. or Canada writes or speaks like the first sentence in that correspondence.

I see that and think Rod Serling- Outer Limits
"Greetings Earthlings"

There is definitely an "alien" feel about what the scammer sent.

Hope you get your money back.

No doubt. It's a dead giveaway.

The entire message is way too wordy for what is necessary, and the first line gives it away for sure.

Scam sadly.

Sad, but kind of funny that sometimes "they" use potentially funny names and no one notices.

Come on...."Steele"....??
