Did seats and dash always match before 67?

Every early A-body I can think of originally had the same color seats and dash.

Are there any exceptions? Besides customs and swaps I mean.

For cars with two tone interiors, the dash is always the darker of the two colors.

My 66 dart gt ragtop had aqua/turquoise exterior. dash and pad black. upper doors black. door panels white/black. black carpet. white seats

White interior would be exception.
