Difference from A-body to B-body A833?

Hey guys,

Could someone tell me what the difference is? I always see many A-body a833's for sale, but none for B-bodies. Whats the difference? The linkages? And I really want to convert my 74' Roadrunner to a 4speed.

The tail housings are different as are the shifter mounting locations and linkages...

hmmm. Alright thanks. It almost seems cheaper to buy a factory 4 speed car then? With the hump, and pedals?

Yea, it's usually cheaper to buy a complete 4-speed car to start with. But it can be done efficiently if you search around for good deals. Another option is to by a complete kit from someone like Passon or Brewer's. Keisler( site sponsor) also sells complete kits with overdrive trans.

Funny as I never see a A body ones and only B body and someone sold me one saying it’s was a body and turns out it’s for a B body lol crap
