My 72 Duster has power drum brakes , I know the spindle off the ebody will work for a conversion but is the upper control arm the same ? And is the portional valve different on power drum verses power disc brake set up ?
I have access to an ebody front end but need to know what works an what does not,,thanks for any input

A & E body upper control arms are not the same.
A power, 4 wheel drum brake car, doesn't use a "proportional valve" but whats called a distribution block.
So disc's use a Proportional valve.

You have to use a-body UCAs, Either get 73 or newer large ball joint UCAs or DR Diff sells adaptors to use the small ball joint UCAs. Proportioning valve is different from drums to discs. Not sure if e-body one will work. Have been running challenger disc brakes on my dads 72 Dart for 10 yrs with no problems.

I just finished up a '72 Duster project. I used Firm Feel upper control arms and a 13 inch Viper disc brake kit from Doctor Diff.
