Should I use manifold or ported vacuum to my distributor ? Also I'm using a 1982 Thermoquad, which port would that be ? Thanks

Ported vacuum, There may not be a ported vacuum tap on an 82 TQ. Ported is usually a horizontal slot in the throttle bore.
I cannot imagine that there would not be

Ported vacuum ca be found as that one dead vacuum hole at idle. Rev it up, it starts sucking.

My 84 TQ, I believe goes to a goofy coolant connector, up on the rad hose. Keep in mind mine is a pure stock app for a 84 D150 360 4bbl.

Its on a 273. I'm sure any TQ will be more than enough. Lean burn or not. That being said, everyone seems to agree, that I should use ported vacuum to my distributor ..Right ?
yes, you want ported vacuum. Lean Burn carbs did not have ported vacuum. I hope yours does.

Its from an 81-83 318 truck. And yes it does have a small slot ABOVE the left primary . Thanks all
