Did this end up working out for you? I've about lost my patience fumbling with an offset wrench and I was going to try fabricating a proper wrench, since I can't seem to find one available anywhere online. If you followed through with making your own, what did you use for the 7/16 box end? My first thought would be to sacrifice a 7/16 wrench and weld it to the end of a long rod.
I have the VIM113 if somebody wants the dimensions on it. It works great for both the exposed bolt and the one under the distributor.
Rob why not just take a photo of it with dimensions laid out?

!!THANKS MAN!! I still have (somewhere!!!) my old KD wrench, which I like a lot. It's two wrenches, with male 3/8 drive ends, and a double-female center connector. You use one wrench for the handle for the other, 1/2/ and 9/16. You can take it apart and put a 3/8 extension and ratchet in there for more leverage. "I think" I have a 7/16 somewhere too. Never know what it was for!!!
That's what I did. I had an old 7/16 12 point wrench. I bent it, cut it & welded it. It works pretty well.
FYI, the MAPP gas and "Bernzomatic" screw on propane torch head are not 100% compatible. Seems the MAPP gas will erode the propane torch rubber and you'll get a nasty leak out the knob area. I had one that flamed up on my and I had to throw it into the corner of the yard thinking it was going to explode! It just sat there sputtering for about 10 minutes, melted the knob and finally gassed out.
Damn funny how the dumbest problems can be an easy fix... Thank You. I dropped mine the other day. Its down there somewhere. Maybe on top of the headers. Who knows lol. Think I'll go get a 1.5" -2" stud... and a nut
