Do i need to bore my engine to put a stroker kit in it is a used 2005 5.7. I measured the bores and they are all in spec still except 2 cylinders measured .002 over the 3.917 spec. Would it be fine with just new rings or do I really need to get it bored. Kinda dont wanna spend the money to get it done just for that little bit, thoughts?

Engine these days don't really wear out bores like pre-fuel injection days. Do you see factory hone? I'm sure the consummate crowd would tell you not to; but from my experience, I say check the ring gap and run it!

Is the stroker kit available with standard pistons?

Yes the kit does come in standard piston size and it does still have the factory cross hatch pattern on the cylinders.

Then I'd get the standard piston kit and run hell outta it.
