Dodge poster child

My choice for ultimate Dodge muscle car poster child?
The venerable 1969 Dodge A12 Super Bee... dressed to kill in TX9 black, with a red bench seat interior. Black bumblebee stripe. Standard fiberglass lift off hood, 440 Six Pak, Hemi 4 speed, the standard Dana 60 axle with 4.10's.
Standard steel wheels with chrome lug nuts.
That car was projected by Dodge, as nothing but pure muscle, and power. We don't need no hubcaps or fancy chrome wheels...we don't need no stinkin' hood hinges, that's for sissy's!

I remember seeing a Dodge ad print, in a car magazine, from that time period, in 1969. The photo was the viewpoint of the driver looking out of the A12's windshield, looking out over the big Six Pak scoop... seeing a dragstrip, and the Christmas tree was about to count down it's lights. How can it get any more super car, than that?? It's a no brainer!!!

Not really a big fan of 2nd gen Chargers. For B-bodies, '64 Sport Fury (going for any Mopar) or '69 Super Bee. A-body, '67-69 Barracuda and '68 GTS. BUT, the ultimate has to be the 1960 300F. The styling of both the interior and exterior along with a long ram 413. Nothing better, even though I'd rather have a '62 300H. Honorable mention goes the 1970 Sport Fury GT with a 440 six barrel.

The OP... specifically stated DODGE in this thread...not Plymouth or Chrysler...all are great of course, but Dodge vehicles are the focus here.

68 Charger RT. I would say that maybe I'm a bit biased as that is my own 68 Charger in the picture. But, when it really comes down to it, I like my 67 Coronet better. The Charger is more of an unmistakable Dodge icon, while the Coronet has been mistaken for a Galaxie, an Impala, a Polara, a Dart and a Road Runner.

My choice(s) would be a '69 Coronet R/T or Super Bee with a Hemi, 4 speed, and a 4:10 Dana 60 rear end in F8 Dark Green with a Dark green interior and very few options other than that...

1956 Chrysler 300B

I cut my teeth a little earlier than most, on the early Hemi. Some would call this car or it's predecessor, the 1955 Chrysler C300, the first muscle car!

I owned a '51 New Yorker, a '52 New Yorker, a '54 New Yorker Deluxe and a '56 Imperial.

P.S. I do realize it's not a Dodge!

Has to be a Dodge ‘eh? I’d say’64 Dart GT convertible. I thought most Mopar “muscle” were boats! Petty was a champion yacht racer in my mind. And the Mopar in the Bullitt chase was the runner up! And how did the Dukes get that thing to fly?

No I like the smaller ones and boy if you had to choose between that Chevy II box or a Falcon, the Dart was far and away better lookin’ in the early 60’s

Now if ya said Plymouth….
